Erin Zwiener is a seventh generation Texan born and reared in the Dallas and Austin areas. An avid horsewoman since she was a child, she was pulled west by dreams of mountains and rugged trails. Erin studied forestry at the University of Montana and spent her college summers leading tourists through the wilderness on horseback. In 2007, she rode her mules 1,400 miles through the back country along the Continental Divide. The twenty-something also holds the distinction of having defended the winner's chair on Jeopardy for three days. Erin has lived in Montana, Colorado, and New Mexico. She’s currently pursuing a master’s in fine arts at the University of Arizona. Little Red Riding Boots is her first book; it launched her Once Upon the West Fairy Tale Series in Fall 2013.
